About me: I love the hills, trails, and the long ultra runs! I run to stay fit, stay social, and to ward off or soften the mental gremlins. To me, there’s nothing better than being up on top of the hills looking down at the gorgeous Scottish scenery and breathing high-quality fresh air into the lungs that have barely recovered from getting up there in the first place 😅. Second to that is the hot shower, fleecy onesie, big bowl of Chilli (non carne 😉🌱) and TV sport catch-up on the couch that comes after it!

I enjoy fitness racing too, and still consider myself a kickboxer (even though my running has paused that part of life just now 😅).

I enjoy representing my club (Vegan Runners UK) when I can, and using the power of running to promote more kindness in the world. I run for good 💚

I’ve won the female category of a couple of 12-hour ultras, though wins are not the motivating factor for me (if they were, I’d be disappointed a lot 😅). My main accomplishment is becoming and staying a runner – I was that kid who ran out of the teachers sight in cross country, and immediately hid behind a tree to wait on everyone else coming back so I could return with the rest of the class 😂

I believe that the joy of running is organic and internal; not at the liberty of medals, podiums, and where other participants place. If you want to run for good, then run with me 💚
