Ananda Animals 10k 2025 – Review, results, photos
On Saturday 05th April, we held our inaugural Ananda Animals 10k – results can be found here.
We could write reams about it but a picture tell a thousand words. And we’ve got loads of pictures! So scroll down to see runners aplenty, smiling faces, clear blue sky, gorgeous views, even more gorgeous animals, and just a grand day out!
This event raised £586.39 for Ananda Animal Sanctuary. This money will go towards hormonal implants that undoubtedly save and enhance the lives of the hens who have been lucky enough to be rescued from the egg industry. This brilliant article explains more more (with photographic evidence!) about why this implant is so important for ex-egg laying hens (note: the article is not about Ananda Animal Sanctuary hens but it’s the same concept and result!). So, to every participant and volunteer, we extend a heartfelt THANK YOU 🙏.
We didn’t get it perfect, but for our inaugural event we think we did alright. The feedback – some shared below – suggests so too. Our runners were superstars, we 💚you all and hope to see you again soon!
